Jamshedpur, May 18: In a proactive effort to ensure smooth drainage during the upcoming monsoon season, the Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) has initiated the cleaning of small and large drains across various areas. With a target to complete the cleaning of all major drains before the monsoon arrives, strict instructions have been issued to all personnel involved in the cleaning process.
The executive officer emphasized the importance of timely completion and instructed all contractors responsible for drain cleaning to diligently carry out the task for both small and large drains. Major drain cleaning operations have already been conducted in several areas, including Zakir Nagar number five, Moon City, Ulidih Tank Road, and Azad Nagar. JCB machines are being utilized for the cleaning of major drains, ensuring efficient and effective results. To ensure the progress and quality of the cleaning work, city managers, engineers, and cleaning supervisors have been directed to closely monitor the activities and provide daily reports.
