Ranchi, July 11: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has taken significant legal action following the Jharkhand High Court’s directive regarding the Manhart scam. The High Court dismissed a writ petition concerning the Anti-Corruption Bureau’s investigation and instructed Saryu Roy to either file an FIR at a police station or initiate legal proceedings.
In compliance with the court’s decision, MLA Saryu Roy filed an FIR at the Doranda police station in Ranchi on July 11. The FIR includes detailed allegations and evidence against former Chief Minister Raghubar Das and senior bureaucrat Rajbala Verma in connection with the Manhart scam. Roy has urged the police station in-charge to investigate the matter thoroughly as per the court’s order and take appropriate legal actions against those responsible.
