Jamshedpur, Jan 17: The tension and anticipation of thousands of parents across the city are set to culminate today, January 18, as 65 private schools prepare to release the lottery results for LKG admissions. With over one lakh anxious applicants vying for just 10,500 general category seats, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Starting at 7 am, the selected students’ lists will be revealed, finally putting an end to weeks of sleepless nights and mounting anxiety for families.
“The wait has been excruciating,” shared a parent nervously waiting for the announcement. “This process has been all-consuming; we just want clarity about our child’s future.”
The district education department is leaving no stone unturned to ensure transparency and fairness. “We understand the anxiety of parents,” said a spokesperson. “Schools have been instructed to display the lists on their notice boards and websites as per the schedule to ensure a smooth process.”
Parents will be able to access the lists either by visiting the schools or checking online platforms. The enrolment process for successful candidates will kick off immediately after the announcement. With demand far outstripping supply, tomorrow’s results are expected to bring both elation and heartbreak in equal measure.
