Minority school teachers� convention at Ranchi

Jamshedpur: The teachers of middle and primary minority schools of Jharkhand will hold a one day conference at Ranchi on March 17 between 10 am and 3 pm. The conference will be convened at Saint Anna Girls High School auditorium. A call to all teachers of minority schools to attend the conference has been given by State Middle Minority Teachers and non Teaching Staff Union vice president Dhirendra Kumar, the organization�s East Singhbhum district secretary Prabhat Kumar and State Primary Schools Minority Teachers Union state secretary Basant Kumar Mishra in a joint appeal.

A preparatory meeting in view of the one day conference to be convened at Ranchi on March 17, was organized by the Middle Minority Schools Teachers Union at ADN High School where the organization�s secretary and the School�s principal Prabhat Kumar Singh presided.

Prabhat Kumar Singh appreciated the Raghubar Das Government�s nod to implement the 7th pay Commission pay structure to primary and middle minority school teachers and non teaching staff including encashment of unavailed leave. �But the teachers are not getting the benefit of the new pension policy. We are not getting this benefit at par with government school teachers. We shall place these points at the conference for discussion and jointly decide on our next plan of action,� he stated in the meeting.

Principals and assistant teachers of primary and middle minority schools were present at the meeting.
