Jamshedpur: A mother-daughter duo had a harrowing time at MGM Hospital while waiting for medical help. The two, injured in an accident at Kandra railway station, had gone to the government hospital for treatment. But unfortunately, they did not get the stretcher for two long hours. The two lay unconscious outside the emergency room. The younger daughter of the woman requested the hospital doctors and paramedical staff to treat her mother and sister, but failed to get prompt response.
Malti Devi, the mother, and her daughter Kaveri, got injured today at Kandra. The former slipped from Tata-Dhanbad Express train while alighting from it at Kandra station. Her daughter too, got injured in an attempt to save her mother. The two were rushed to MGM Hospital where they failed to get help for two hours. Fortunately, few journalists present at the hospital noticed this and requested the hospital superintendent to help them. Finally, the mother-daughter were taken to the emergency room for treatment.
