Kochi, April 16 : As Jamshedpur FC gear up for a crucial away fixture against Kerala Blasters FC, forward Messi Bouli remains focused on helping the team return to winning ways while reflecting on his past experiences and current challenges.
Having previously represented Kerala Blasters, Bouli looked back at his time in Kochi with fondness. “Yeah it was good experience. Good to play with amazing fans. It was a good time I love it but was long time. I’ll remember the memories,” he said, acknowledging the connection he once shared with the club and its supporters.
With Jamshedpur FC now entering a decisive phase of the season, the striker made it clear that the immediate priority is to get back to winning ways. “Our target is to win. After a good start 4 wins, in our last 4 games we’ve won 0, 1 defeat and 3 importantly draw. So first aim is to win take the 3 points,” he stated.
Bouli also addressed his own form, underlining the importance of resilience during difficult phases for a striker. “Yeah for a striker is important to score and keep confidence but sometimes you’ve to deal with a difficult time on not scoring. This is football and we have to just continue to work as we still have 5 games to turn the bad words and bad comments to good for me and for the team,” he said.
Jamshedpur FC will face Kerala Blasters FC on April 18 at 5 PM and the match is live on Fancode App and Sony Sports Network.
