Jamshedpur, June 11: Potka MLA Menka Sardar on Sunday laid foundation of three PCC roads and renovation of three government ponds in Potka.
Three dried up ponds in Sanvasa and Sagar Sai village of Rasunchopa panchayat along with Naga village of Gangadih panchayat will be renovated so that villagers can be linked to self-employment and also promote farming.
The renovation of ponds will help farmers to be indulged in fisheries while it will also help the dried up farms to get water and also increase the income of the farmers.
Foundation of PCC Roads were laid at Niche Tola, from Potka Durga Mandir to Petrol Pump and in Sanagram. Present on the occasion were Potka Block’s Santosh Bhanj, Sudhir Gope, Sanat Kumar along with BJP workers in large numbers.
