Female Railway staff to get changing rooms at Tatanagar

Jamshedpur: Railway is planning to set up changing rooms for women employees at the Tatanagar railway station. As per plan, the rooms will be built for the Railway Carriage and Wagon and the AC departments between the washing line and Loco Colony railway level crossing. This would benefit around 1000 female staff, sources said.

Shashi Mishra, convenor of Chakradharpur Division Railway Men�s Congress, had raised the demand for changing rooms. He had given a petition to the Electrical Engineer of South Eastern Zone, Vasudev Panda, in this regard. RPF women cops will be deputed outside the changing rooms, sources said.
