Chaibasa: The team of Mecon defeated Tata Hitachi by 117 runs in the Super Division match of JSCA Institution League 2013-14 in an exciting match at Birsa Munda Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
Mecon were at 297 for a loss of 5 in 50 overs. Abhimanyu Kumar scored a whopping 112 with his 11 boundaries and four sixes.
Gulrej Hasan scored an impressive 69. Tata Hitachi were 187 for a loss of 10 wickets in 38.4 overs. Sumitabh Kumar scored 68 with nine fours and three sixes.
Ajit Dwivedi scored 40 while Prashant Rahul was close behind at 37.
