Mechanical department volleyball tournament

Jamshedpur, Feb. 6: One-day intra mines volleyball tournament was organised at Narwa Pahar UCIL Colony on Monday.

Mechanical department emerged as the champion of the tournament. Umpire of the tournament was Dr. AK Sinha. The tournament was jointly hosted by Community centre and UCIL Sports Council Narwa Pahar.

At the event officers and workers of underground mines department, gradual department and mechanical department participated. Community centre Narwa team bagged the third position.

Earlier the tournament was inaugurated by Additional manager PK Nayak while Mines manager Manoranjan Mahali felicitated the winners.

To make the event successful, PK Nayak, DN Singh, Gajiya Hansda, Ram Babu Kshtriya, Prashant Mahato, Madan Mohan Das, Fulchand Patr played a vital role.
