Massive night long campaign leads to arrest of 77 criminals in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Following directive from Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Jamshedpur, a massive campaign was conducted in Jamshedpur district from 08.00 pm on Saturday night.

In this campaign, mainly physical verification of criminals, physical verification of accused of firing related cases of last five years, arrest of wanted accused in the case, along with checking of hotels, lodges, guest houses, railway stations, bus stands and sensitive places were done and suspects living as nomads were also checked.

For conducting this campaign, additional force was also provided to all the police stations from Police Center, Golmuri. During this campaign, a total of 365 criminals were arrested.

Physical verification of 159 accused of firing related incidents of last five years was done.

Along with this, a total of 77 accused wanted in the case were arrested. 125 hotels, lodges, guest houses were inspected in the entire district. Along with this, railway station and bus stand and suspicious nomads were also thoroughly investigated. In this campaign, all the police station in-charges, circle inspectors, deputy superintendents of police complied with the above order and Superintendent of Police, Rural and Superintendent of Police, City, continuously monitored it.
