Jamshedpur, June 16: Jamshedpur Police has succeeded in arresting the person who cheated lakhs of rupees by posing as a fake vigilance officer and CBI officer in many police station areas including Kadma and Telco of Jamshedpur.
He has been arrested from Kolkata. That person is Jayant Kumar Jaiswal, who used to roam around different parts of the country and carry out such incidents.
Recently, he entered houses in Kadma and Telco police station areas of Jamshedpur, threatened women and swindled lakhs of rupees and fled. He was identified through CCTV. But since he was not a resident of Jamshedpur and was a resident of Kolkata, it was not so easy to identify him. But the police collected information through their network and arrested him.
After the arrest, he told that he used to bet in IPL and he lost in it. After this, he started this work of betting. He has carried out this incident in many areas. The police is bringing him to Jamshedpur. He is also being questioned so that it can be ascertained where else he has carried out the incident.
