Mass recitation of the Preamble marks Constitution Day in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Constitution Day was observed with solemnity and national pride across East Singhbhum district as all government offices, including the Collectorate, participated in a mass recitation of the Preamble to the Indian Constitution on Wednesday.

At the Collectorate, the Preamble was read collectively in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Karn  Satyarthi, Deputy Development Commissioner Nagendra Paswan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhagirath Prasad, and several district-level officials and staff members. All present reaffirmed their commitment to the Constitution and remembered the vision of its founding fathers.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Karn  Satyarthi said that the Constitution forms the foundation of India’s democratic framework. He stressed that every citizen, especially public servants, must uphold its core values—justice, liberty, equality and fraternity. He encouraged officers and staff to carry out their duties with dedication, transparency and a spirit of public service.

Similar recitations of the Preamble were organised in all subdivision and block offices, departmental establishments, educational institutions and other government setups across the district.
