Rajor, Parvati and Ashwini bag top positions
Jamshedpur, Dec. 23: The prelims of �Wheels 2019�, biggest techno-cultural fest for the dynamic youth of Jamshedpur, concluded with marathon run on Sunday. The winter chill failed to deter the spirits of the people as they enjoyed their day out at the marathon.
The theme for this year’s run was ‘ENVIRUNMENT-Let�s Paryavaran�. The marathon will be flagged off from Telco Club Cricket Ground at 6 am by Sampath K Morri, Head, Jamshedpur Plant, Tata Motors and Manas Mishra, general manager, Tata Motors. The marathon was divided into three categories-Men, Women and Executive.
In the men’s category-Rajor Rahman, Fagu Hansda and Fagu Murmu bagged the top three positions. The women category saw Parvati Tudu was first, Saraswati Tudu was second and Mehjabin bagged the third place. In the executive category-Ashwini Kumar, Rajnish Khaturia and Pankaj Saraswat were first, second and third. The winners received medals and bicycle as gifts.
This year the theme for 32nd edition of Wheels is �ANKURAN-Nurturing Innovations�. Organised by the Graduate Engineer Trainee (G.E.T) Club, the finals of �Wheels 2019� will take place from 11th to 13th January, 2019.
