Maoist bid foiled, can bombs recovered in Jharkhand’s Gumla

Gumla, July 6: Police has got a big success in Gumla district of Jharkhand. Around 35 series of cane bombs planted by CPI Maoist on the way to Anjan Harinajhad village have been recovered. These bombs were planted with the aim of harming the police. The bomb disposal squad dug out five cane bombs from the road on Friday and defused them. While the remaining bombs were defused on Saturday. The bombs were spread in the middle of the road for a distance of about 200 feet. Gumla police said in this regard that all the recovered can bombs could not be taken out due to night. Therefore, on Saturday morning, the bomb disposal squad defused the bomb. Actually, on Friday evening, police force had gone out to raid the area. Then some wire was seen on the road going to Harinakhad village through Anjan Dham. After this, when the police force investigated the wire, a series of can bombs was found laid on the road.
