Gamharia, Sept 10: Uttamdih village in Adityapur Municipal Corporation�s Ward 1 will observe Mansa Puja this year on Monday, September 14. This was decided in a meeting of the Mansa Puja Samiti presided by Vinod Mahto. It was announced that in earlier years Mansa puja used to be organized on Bhado Sankranti but since the month of Ashwin will be in the ambit of Kharmas (inauspicious month), the worship has been shifted. The members present in the Samiti meeting were Mangaram Mahto, Sudhir Mahto, Sachin Mahto, Sanjay Mahto, Lakhicharan Mahto and others.
