Manisha Sanghi crowned Savan Queen

Shakambhari Mata Parivar hosts Savan Mahotsav

Jamshedpur, July 30: City’s religious organisation Sri Shakambhari Mata Parivar Tatanagar organised Savan and Teej Queen Competition as part of the Savan Mahotsav at Chamber Bhawan in Bistupur. More the 50 women dressed in colourful attire participated in the competition. The competition began with women dancing to the tunes of Rajasthani songs which made the whole atmosphere Rajstahani. At the event all the women appealed to keep the Rajasthani tradition alive. The members of the Shakambhari Mata Parivar played a vital role in making the event a success.

Later the judges announced the results were Sakchi resident Manisha Sanghi was crowned the Savan Queen, Manisha Kauntia also of Sakchi was elected the Teej Queen and Mango resident Kavita Agarwal bagged the Hariyali Queen award. This was followed by a prize distribution function.

Other awards included a Simple woman which was bagged by Jugsalai resident Bindu Sharma, Smile Women award was received by Saatchi resident Uma Chetani, Active Women award went to Neetu Harnathaka, resident of Telco Kharangajhar and president of the organisation. Modern Women award went to Seraikela resident Laxmi Choudhary.
