Jamshedpur, April 10: In preparation for the upcoming festivities of Eid, Ramnavmi, Chhath, and Sarhul, Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) launched an extensive cleanliness campaign. Focus has been directed towards cleaning Chhath Ghats, mosques, main roads, and streets. Supervisors kept a sharp eye on all cleaning activities to ensure thoroughness.
Special attention was on cleaning around mosques and madrassas. Additionally, inspections and repairs of high mast lights and street lights were being conducted to enhance safety and ambiance during the festivals.
The Additional Municipal Commissioner issued directives to expedite cleanliness efforts and repair works during the festival period. Night patrols had been initiated, facilitating timely repairs of street lights and high mast lights. These measures aimed to minimize inconvenience to the public and ensure a smooth festival experience, with a significant number of lights already restored.
