Bistupur Traders� Association’s �Winter Carnival� lucky draw held in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Jan 03: The 18 day �Winter Carnival� organized by Bistupur Traders� Association (BTA) between December 15 and January 1, saw the participation of 40 shop owners of Main Road in Bistupur Market. Shoppers during the period at the various participating shops won many prizes through a lucky draw on January 2 after 10 pm.

Participating shop owners during the period of the �Winter Carnival� gave lucky draw coupons to customers making purchases of Rs 1,000. The first prize winner won a TV that went to a purchaser at Allen Solly Jr store,, the second a mobile phone won by a shopper at Dongarsidas Biharilal, while the third prize winner, a customer of VD Garments received a SAREGAMA Caravan set. Similarly, more than 100 other prizes were also drawn.

All lucky winners were informed telephonically and called to the respective shops to collect their prizes. This information was given vide a press release by BTA secretary Dharmesh Adesra. The release stated that on December 23 and 25, Santa Claus went round the market and distributed surprise gifts to children.

Those present during the lucky draw were BTA president Naresh Agrawal, vice president Naresh Dev, Dipak Adesra, secretary Dharmesh Adesra, Mukund Rai, PC Meghani, Sashikant Choksi, Pravin Shah, Pravin Choksi, Snehasish Sarkar, Madhav Dave, Sarthak Meghani and other participating shopkeepers.

It may be mentioned here that the idea of the �Winter Carnival� was conceptualized by the youngest member of BTA and the Association worked on the idea which ultimately turned out to be successful.
