Jamshedpur: A man, identified as Devashish Rai, resident of Laldih, Ghatsila, was injured after being knocked down by a speeding dumper on Tuesday. He was taken to UCIL Hospital from where he was taken to Tata Main Hospital for better treatment.
Sources said the mishap occurred around 4 pm at Kendidih main road. Rai was on his way from Jadugora to Ghatsila when the dumper hit him at high speed.
Police have registered a case against the dumper driver in this connection.
