Jamshedpur’s Soma Ghosh sets up “MAC Studio”

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur born Classical singer Soma Ghosh Chandra has made a name for herself in the world of music. Daughter of MP Ghosh and late Lakshmi Ghosh has been trained under famous artist late Chandrakant Apte since the age of five.

Since early childhood Soma dreamt of becoming a singer and reach the heights of music industry. To make her dreams turn into reality, Soma completed Sangeet Visharad (3 years course) from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Mumbai and is continuing her studies in music and has won several accolades.

Soma along with skilled and prosperous classical musician has mastered herself in ghazal, bhajan, Bengali songs and Bollywood songs. Recently Soma sung the title track of Bollywood movie ‘Banjaara’ whose premier was held in Australia.

To make today’s generation aware of classical music and help it reach the children in a simple and effective way, Soma has established “MAC Studio” at Gurgaon along with his husband Dinesh Chandra, an advertising professional and MA in Fine Arts and two friends Ranojoy Hazra and Ankita Hazra.

MAC Studio time to time hosts creative programmes, workshops, music, photography, fine art.
