Major reshuffle in Jharkhand Administration: Notable IAS transfers announced

Ranchi: In a significant administrative shake-up, several IAS officers in Jharkhand have been transferred and appointed to new postings. The State Government has issued an official notification outlining these changes. Among the notable appointments, Utkarsh Kumar has assumed the role of Ranchi Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO).

Ashish Gangwar, previously awaiting posting, has been assigned and posted to the position of Hussainabad SDO in Palamu until further orders. Shrikant Yashwat has taken charge of the Tribal Development Agency in Khunti. Vispute, awaiting posting, will serve as Project Director, Consolidated, in his existing pay scale until further directives. Om Prakash Gupta, also awaiting posting, has been appointed and posted as Chas SDO until further orders.

Deepak Kumar Dubey, formerly the Sub-Divisional Officer in Ranchi Sadar, has been transferred to the role of Deputy Development Commissioner cum Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Giridih, until further orders. Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, the Sub-Divisional Officer in Chas, Bokaro, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Development Commissioner cum Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Lohardaga, until further orders. Sandeep Kumar Meena, previously the Sub-Divisional Officer in Koderma, now assumes the position of Deputy Development Commissioner cum Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad West Singhbhum Chaibasa, until further orders.

Shatabdi Majumdar, previously awaiting posting, has been appointed and posted as the Project Director, Integrated Tribal Development Agency, Jamshedpur, in his own pay scale until further directives. The reshuffle reflects the government’s strategic reassignment of key administrative roles to enhance efficiency and address various regional needs.
