Gamharia, April 18: As part of Jharkhand Fire Department’s National Safety Week awareness campaign, a programme to the effect was organizes at Kerala Public School (KPS) in Gamharia.
The school teachers, staff and students were given important tips on fire prevention measures, methods of evacuating the school building safely and in the shortest possible time in case of fire and controlling fire in the cylinder immediately. Mock drills were performed to demonstrate the measures to be adopted for evacuating the building, dousing flames and providing first aid to the injured. Fire Department officers were also present during the Fire Safety Awareness campaign at KPS, Gamharia.
