Jamshedpur: City-based NGO Maa Tujhe Salaam has demanded setting up of a madrasa in Kitadih, Parsudih, for the greater good of the minority community members living in the area.
The outfit president Mohammad Azhar Khan has sent a memorandum to the state education minister Gitashree Oraon and demanded that the madrasa should be opened in the said area so that the minority members could attain education.
He said many children of the minority community still did not have access to formal education. He said the problems of the community should not be ignored for too long by the state government.
