Farmers workshop held

Seraikela: Farmers were informed about SRI method of paddy farming on Thursday during a workshop organized at the Seraikela community building by the district agriculture department.

The deputy development commissioner of the district Sangram Besra was also present on the occasion. He said the farmers should adopt newer methods of farming to get manifold yield of various crops.

He said the agriculture department will provide free training to farmers and also help them get modern farming equipments. Many farmers were present during the workshop.
