LPG tanker overturns in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, May 19: A fully-loaded LPG tanker overturned in the middle of the road near Pardih Chowk, located under the jurisdiction of Azadnagar police station in Mango. The sudden overturning of the tanker sparked panic among nearby onlookers but fortunately, the driver escaped unharmed. As a result of the incident, traffic in one lane of the highway was completely disrupted. Upon receiving information about the incident, the Azadnagar police swiftly arrived at the scene and took immediate action to restore traffic flow. To ensure safety, two fire tenders were deployed at the site. According to the police, the tanker was en route to Chandil when it unexpectedly lost control and overturned just beyond City Inn. Although the tanker has been thoroughly inspected, there have been no reports of any leaks. Precautionary measures are being taken during the process of lifting the overturned tanker.
