Jamshedpur, May 7: Topper Srishti Vaidya, who owes her success to her parents, said: I am really happy with my performance. I gave my best but never knew that I will be the topper. Srishti scored 99.75 % marks to be crowned second national topper in ISC class 12 and also achieved the position of state topper in Humanities.

Regardless of which ever field I take up as a career my motto would be to ensure development of India with the small contribution of mine. Though I scored 98 per cent in ICSE and my relatives suggested I take science but my parents supported me. My parents made me realise my dreams. I want to pursue economics honours from University of Delhi and want to become an IAS just like Tina Dabi who stood first in UPSC 2017.

Congratulating students for their splendid performance, Father Pius Fernandes, principal of Loyola School, said that his student Srishti Vaidya has topped ISC in the State. It is the result of teamwork of students and their teachers. He expressed satisfaction over the outcome of the results. “Our students have shown their mettle in the academic fields. We wish them all the best for their future,” said Father Pius.
