Jamshedpur: Loyola School won the Bishwadeep Sarkar Memorial Environment Quiz – 2014, which was organised by the Environment Club of DBMS English School on Thursday at their School Auditorium.
This is an annual event organised by Eco-Club of D. B. M. S. English School in memory of student Bishwadeep Sarkar. This quiz aims to spread interesting facts about mother earth and to develop an awareness for conserving and preserving our environment so that we may leave behind a better legacy for the future generations.
A total of 12 schools of Jamshedpur participated in it. Five best teams qualified for the stage round.
Since the quiz is being organised by the Eco Club members of the D. B. M. S. English School, the host school did not participate in the quiz.
The quiz comprised six rounds based on video picture, and visual rounds. Loyola School secured the first position with 50 points while Motilal Nehru Public School stood second with 30 points and Kerala Samajam Model School ended third with 25 points.
