Loyola School Jamshedpur bids farewell to outgoing principal Father Pius

Jamshedpur: The students and staff of Loyola School bid farewell to their beloved principal, Father Pius Fernandes , who retired after morethan 30 years of service.

Pius during his tenure, transformed the school into a thriving educational institution. Under his leadership, Loyola became one of the top-performing schools in the country, and the students excelled in academics, athletics, and the arts.

During the farewell ceremony, students and staff members spoke about the positive impact that he had on their lives. Many of them talked about his kindness, dedication, and his unwavering commitment to excellence. 

Several students shared stories of how he had helped them overcome their academic and personal struggles, and how he had inspired them to pursue their dreams.

In his  farewell speech, Pius thanked the students, staff, and parents for their support and for making his job so rewarding. He also expressed his pride in the achievements of the students and staff, and he encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.

The farewell ceremony ended with a standing ovation, as the students and staff applauded. Pius for his years of dedicated service. He was presented with a plaque and a bouquet of flowers as a token of appreciation for his contributions to the school.

Team Loyola Alumni Association led by Rajiv Talwar and Savak Patel thanked father for his visionary leadership.

Father Pius’s retirement marks the end of an era at Loyola School, but his legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of the students and staff members whose lives he has touched. Team Loyola wished him all the best in his retirement and thanked him for his many years of service to the community.
