Potka: New Gandhi Club of Haldipokhar under Potka block is celebrating its silver jubilee anniversary this year.
It has organized Ganesh Puja to mark the celebration. The idol of Lord Ganesha will be immersed on Sunday. A cultural event �Chhapol Chhapol� was organized here on Friday. The chief guest of the occasion was the MLA of Baharagora Kunal Sarangi.
the gathering, Sarangi said the health situation in the state was miserable. Citing the instances of infants� deaths in the hospitals of Jharkhand including MGMCH at Jamshedpur and RIMS at Ranchi, he said only Lord Ganesha could save the children. He appealed to the people to celebrate the festival with unity.
