Link bank accounts with Aadhar and mobile number: LDM

Potka: The lead district bank manager (LDM) of East Singhbhum Falguni Rai held a meeting with the panchayat secretary, Jan Sevak and Rojgar Sevak of Potka in the presence of Potka block development officer (BDO) PC Das on Friday.

She said the Central government had made it mandatory to link Aadhar Number and mobile phone number of all bank accounts. She said the banks were providing Kisan Credit Card (KCC) and loans to self help groups.

She appealed to the people to cooperate with the administration and spread awareness on government schemes.

Among those present at the meeting included Bandhu Kushal Mahato, Soni Kumari, Koushlendra Kumar, James Hansda, Manoj Kumar Sinha, Tapan Das, Kanchan Das, Ganesh Mahato and Geeta Mahato.
