Jamshedpur, July 27: Jharkhand Lokayukta Justice DN Upadhyaya has recommended legal action against Kolhan Commissioner Vijay Kumar Singh in a case of alleged irregularity. He has sent his recommendation to the additional chief secretary of the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Raj Bhasha.
Sources said Singh is accused of involvement in irregularities outside his jurisdiction while posted as the Registrar of Sahyog Samiti. A preliminary enquiry has been made in this connection earlier, sources said.
Sources said Singh had ordered bandobasti of several ponds for the benefit of several companies without following the due procedure.
