Ranchi, March 2: Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday announced candidates for 11 out of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand in its first list for ensuing Lok Sabha polls even before the dates of the election has been announced.

Sitting Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato has once again been made the candidate from Jamshedpur general seat. The  two-time MP, has been given the ticket for the third time.

Geeta Koda, who was Congress MP from Singhbhum parliamentary seat and had joined the party last month has been given the ticket from Singhbhum ST reserved seat.

Hazaribagh MP Jayant Sinha’s ticket has been canceled and sitting Hazaribagh Sadar MLA Manish Jaiswal has been made the candidate in his place.

Jayant Sinha had announced his retirement from politics today itself. Union Minister Arjun Munda has once again been given the ticket from Khunti. Sunil Soren has again been made the candidate from Dumka.

Annapurna Devi from Koderma and Nishikant Dubey from Godda have been given tickets again.

Tala Marandi has been given a ticket from Rajmahal and Sameer Oraon has been given a ticket from Lohardaga.

Sanjay Seth has been again named as party candidate for Ranchi parliamentary seat.

Sameer Oraon is an MP from Rajya Sabha. BD Ram has also been given a ticket from Palamu. He is still a BJP MP. Now only 3 seats have been left vacant or it is possible that Giridih seat may go to AJSU. It may be noted that the BJP Central Election Committee released the list of 195 candidates on Saturday.

BJP has given ticket to its former state president Tala Marandi against JMM MP Vijay Kumar Hansda in Rajmahal. Candidates were not announced on these three seats – Chatra Giridih Dhanbad.

There are two new faces in the candidates announced by BJP for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Tickets of Jayant Sinha from Hazaribagh and Sudarshan Bhagat from Lohardaga have been canceled. BJP has not yet announced its candidates for Chatra, Giridih and Dhanbad seats. BJP had won all these three seats in the last elections. ,
