Jamshedpur: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) organized Lok Adalat at Jamshedpur Civil Court on Saturday. A total of 120 cases were disposed today. A sum of Rs 64.47 lakh was received in settlements. A compensation amount of Rs 57.57 lakh (approximately) altogether was distributed among the victims of various cases under victim compensation scheme. Compensation worth Rs 5.5 lakh was distributed in accident insurance cases. The DLSA secretary said a total of seven benches were set up to dispose the pending cases.
