Live Sketching competition marks Gandhi Jayanti in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Namda Centre, Urban Services, Tata Steel Foundation (TSF) organized a successful Live Sketching Competition on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, October 2, at the Tinplate Sports Complex in Golmuri. The event featured 97 participants, including five accomplished live sketching artists: Deobrat Singh, Jamil Afsar, Harsh Pathak, Ayush Giri, and Rabi Shankar.

Chief Guest Roman Sonowal, DGM-QA, Tata Motors, attended the event, offering words of encouragement and praising the creative talents of the participants.

The competition was divided into four groups based on age, and the winners were:

Group A (1st to 3rd Std): 1st: Ankita Kumari, 2nd: Ishika Kumari, 3rd: Ahnaf Siddique

Group B (4th to 5th Std): 1st: Sumaya Tahreem, 2nd: Adarsh Kumar, 3rd: Trishrti Kumari Mahato.

Group C (6th to 8th Std): 1st: Asmita Kumari, 2nd: Nilesh Kumar Das, 3rd: Aarambh Kumar.

Group D (9th Std & above): 1st: Azeen Afshan, 2nd: Saniya Perween, 3rd: Susmita Biswas

Participants showcased their skills by creating sketches of Mahatma Gandhi, reflecting their unique interpretations and artistic abilities.

The success of the event was attributed to the dedicated efforts of the team members from all three centres, who played a key role in organizing the competition.
