Jamshedpur, Aug 19: The birth celebration of Lord Krishna was organized on the fourth day of Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagna at Satyanarayan Marwari Mandir, Bistupur, here on Friday. The speaker of the occasion, Himanshu Maharaj, gave discourse to the people by recounting various events from the life of Lord Krishna. He said people often become haughty after gaining even little amount of wealth, which is not right. Remembering the Bhagwat, that is the Almighty, is the simplest way of attaining the highest joy in life, he observed.
Maharaj sang the songs ‘Nand Ke Ghar Anand Bhayo’ and ‘Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki’ with the devotees who were present in large numbers.
A group of bhajan singers from Mathura performed from 9 pm till midnight. Many dignitaries from the city were present during the programme. The included Vishwanath Sonthalia, Pawan Babulal Sonthalia, Kamal Bankrewal and Ravi Kejriwal.
