Jamshedpur: JNAC Special Officer inspects renovation of Ramlila Maidan

Jamshedpur, Aug 19: The Special Officer of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) Sanjay Kumar paid a visit to various localities of city in view of the proposed renovation work undertaken by the civic body. He visited Ramlila Maidan at Sakchi and inspected the site of renovation by Tata Steel UISL. He also spoke to local residents and heard their grievances. He assured to resolve various civic issues and appealed to the local residents to pay no heed to rumours.

Later, Kumar visited Dhatkidih community building premises and inspected its condition. He said information had been received regarding a local man reportedly encroaching the community building premises and running a cowshed on it. Due to lack of upkeep, it has become impossible to maintain general hygiene on the premises, sources said.

The Special Officer said directed the accused man to remove the encroachment on his own, or else be ready for action by the JNAC. He said penalty would be imposed on the accused for non-compliance.

Kumar also ordered the JNAC officials concerned to remove garbage from various pockets of Sonari such as a vacant ground near Carmel Junior College. He appealed to people to dispose waste wisely and regularly.
