Little Flower School students unravel their talent at Odyssey

Class 7B and 10C declared winner

Jamshedpur, August 10: Little Flower School�s (LFS) annual fest Odyssey is not only a horde of innumerable competitions but it is also a celebration.

School Festivals are cradles of the students� artistic and cultural development, the forum where young talent is discovered.

The annual fest was inaugurated by Lt. Col. Vikas Brar (head security & Admin Tata Motors). The events began with the much-awaited inaugural dance by the School Council.

The enthralling performance by the Council members got the audience into the mood for the day, as they hummed and clapped to the beat of melodious songs. 

The choreography competition which followed carried them further into the exhilaration of the day, and there was no stopping their excitement.

Dance, music in various forms, painting, model-making, writing, dramatics and mimes are all presented at this fest, the first day had the following events in store for the eager students: Western Vocal (Solo), Grand Quiz, Antakshari, IT Quiz, Instrumental (Solo) and the Western Solo Dance. Events of the day included Group Miming, Eastern Solo Vocal performances, Brand Master, Duet Dance, Grand Quiz, Antakshari, IT Quiz. The final event, Ramp Walk, had the students modelling different cartoon characters and zodiac signs which was truly sensational, and had the audience on their feet.

It was indeed a spectacular display of talent and fervor, after long hours of training and practice by the participants.  Months of hard work and coordination finally paid off, and all credit goes to the Student Council and their Event Coordinators, Aninder Kaur and Amarjeet Kaur, not forgetting Sangeeta Chatrath and Charmaine Xavier, the Student Council Coordinators.

The third day of the school fest, Odyssey, has always been a formal affair, a day for declaration of prizes. Manish Jha, head, Tata Cummins was present this morning to give away the prizes as well.  Results of off-stage as well as on-stage events were declared and the winners were overjoyed to receive their prizes.

The Overall Class Championship (Junior Category) was carried away by Class 7B while Class 10C walked away with the Championship in the Senior Category.  Pragya Sinha and Naval Singh were the winner of the Individual Championship in the Junior category; and Kashish Aggarwal and Suraj Singh Deo & Shreyans Sakarwal were awarded the trophy in the senior level.  The Council Members were also felicitated for the excellent job of organising the event. Thus, the curtains came down on yet another round of festivities �Odyssey 2019�.
