Liquor mafia assaults milk seller in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 18: Liquor mafia Bhim Singh and his men attacked on milk seller Harendra Pandit at Kumharpada Basti in Sonari on Sunday morning leading to injury on head, hands and was admitted at MGM Hospital. 
According to Harendra Pandit, the assaulters also took away Rs 20,000 and his bike and that he was going to his milk shop as usual when near Shiv Mandir the assaulters attacked him with iron rods and with pistol butts. He also accused Pawan Singh, Angad Singh all accomplices of Bhim Singh for involved in the attack. The assailants escaped after local residents shouted but took away his bike and threatened to eliminate his family if he lodged case in thana. He alleged that his wife had lodged a case in the Sonari thana but the police did not take any action and in fact is patronising illegal liquor sellers. 
Significantly, Bhim Singh had been in jail in connection with the murder case of 2018 and is involved in gambling and selling liquor and the local residents had complained this to the Sonari thana after which he was annoyed.
