Champai announces water round the year in home constituency
Jamshedpur, June 16: Jharkhand chief minister Champai Soren on Sunday announced his government plans to provide 200 units of free electricity and water round the year for cultivation in Rajnagar block of Seraikela-Kharsawan district.
The chief minister participating in the inauguration and foundation laying stone of various schemes and distribution of assets among the beneficiaries in the program organized in Matkambeda village located in Rajnagar block of Seraikela-Kharsawan district, his home constituency said that Shaheed Gram Matkambeda village will be made an ideal village,” said Soren.

He further said that the state government is committed to ensure that the welfare schemes of the government are implemented on the ground.
“Now the fields of the farmer brothers of the state will have water throughout the year. The fields and barns will remain green throughout the year. Work on projects are underway so that farmers of the state and Rajnagar block can grow crops three times a year and water would be available in the field round the year,” said Soren.
He also said that the state government has already given 150 units of free electricity and soon the government will provide 200 units of free electricity to domestic consumers.
The Chief Minister said that the government will soon strengthen the basic system and include Jharkhand state among the leading states.
“Now we are going to implement such a system in every panchayat of the state, where medicines will be available 24 hours a day at the panchayat secretariat,” announced Soren.
Champai Soren said that our government is providing the benefit of Guruji Credit Card Scheme to children of all classes and communities including tribals, Dalits, laborers, farmers, minorities of the state. Now the education of our children will not stop due to money.
“Our government is constantly trying to strengthen the education system. A developed state can be built only from an educated society,” said Soren.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed assets worth about Rs 54.42 crore among the beneficiaries and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 182 schemes. He inaugurated 22 schemes worth Rs 7000.759 lakh and laid the foundation stone of 160 schemes at a cost of Rs 16709.805 lakh.
