Jamshedpur, Sep 29: Lions Club of Jamshedpur Femina organised cancer awareness talk with focus on breast and cervical cancer at Jamshedpur Cooperative College on Wednesday.
Club President Dr Manju Rani Singh and members were present.
Resource Person Dr Mukesh Kumar, Medical Superintendent of Brahmananda Narayana Multi Speciality Hospital spoke on ‘Prevention, Detection and Treatment of breast and cervical cancer.’
Survi Choudhary also created awareness among 100 students.
Dr Manju Rani Singh also shared her journey of cancer with students and motivated them to be positive in all situations.
DG PMJF Vivek Choudhary was chief guest and 2nd VDG MJF Seema Bajpai was the Guest of honour for the session.
Principal of Cooperative College Dr Amar Singh, Dr Antara Tripathy, Dr Swati Soren, Dr B K Singh along with club secretary P Pushpalata and others were present.
