Jamshedpur, Sep 29: Little Flower School (LFS) students had a brilliant outing at ASISC Regional Athletics Championship held in Ranchi on 26 and 27 September, 2022.
Four students of the school competed with seven zones and claimed seven medals including two gold, three silver and two bronze in various events.
Adrija Das won two silver medals in long jump and 4x100m relay, and a bronze in 100m dash.
Arshjit Singh bagged a gold medal in discus throw and a silver in shot put. Nikhil Tirkey of the school won gold medal in high jump. The students will now move on to the National Championship.
Hanzala Seemak also did the school proud by winning a bronze medal in high jump.
Congratulating the students, School Principal Sister Hilda D’ Souza said, “Little Flower School (LFS) has had a remarkable history with the ASISC Championship. The determined and competitive spirit promoted by Little Flower School has led to the emergence of such stars. It is a matter of pride to be selected for the Regional and National levels of the Championship.”
It is worth mentioning that after the zonals at JRD Tata Sports Complex, seven students of Little Flower School went on to participate at the Regional event held in Ranchi.
