Land-related grievances to be resolved every Monday

Every Monday, a camp is organized at the Tehsil Kacheri for disposal of cases related to Halka Karmacharis. In today’s camp, 40 applications were received from different zones. Of these, 19 were resolved on the spot, while 18 are under process. So far, a total of 2,488 applications have been received, out of which 2,106 have been disposed of and action is underway on 379 applications.

Similarly, on every working day from 1 pm to 2 pm, Zonal Officers meet applicants in their respective offices to address land-related problems. Today, 39 applications were received, out of which 36 were resolved immediately and 3 were kept under process. Till date, 1,543 applications have been registered in zonal offices, of which 1,375 have been settled and action is ongoing on 159.

Officials said the initiative has improved transparency and accessibility, enabling quicker resolution of land-related grievances of citizens.
