Lakshmi Sri Sookta Puja at Dharma Sastha Mandir Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Feb 2: As part of the 76^th Sastha Preeti celebrations, at Sri Dharma Sastha Mandir, the prayers commenced with havan for Maha Ganapati on Friday.  The visiting Ved Pandits performed Maha Lakshmi Sri Sookta puja, Sri Lakshmi Narayan Hrudayam, Jaap and havan.  Under the guidance of Subramanya Shastrigal, P N Sankaran, Working President of the Temple performed Poornahuti and Vasordhara in the course of which ghee was offered in havan continuously.  The Temple priests comprising Sri Mohit Sharma, Sri Akash Sharma and Sri Priyanshu Sharma performed Kalash Abhishek for Sri Dharma Sastha.  Maha Aarti was performed and the managing committee members of the Temple distributed Prasad to thousands of devotees.

In the evening Vidushi Vrinda Acharya from Chennai along with her troupe rendered South Indian classical songs which enthralled the audience.  Ved Pandits recited from chapters of the four Vedas.
