Jamshedpur: Under Sidgora police station area thieves decamped with valuables from professional college. The theft was reported on Wednesday during the inspection by the team of the district administration.
In the previous government itself, the professional college is closed and fully ready where the contractor has handed over the building to Jharkhand State Building Corporation Ltd. The thieves were sighted in this deserted building. The thieves stole government property worth millions after getting a chance.
The theft was revealed today during an inspection by the district administration where ADM and JNAC special officers arrived at the order of the Deputy Commissioner to revive the Kovid Center.
In this context, the project engineer of the building Sanjeev Kumar Srivastava said that the theft of the building has been reported to the concerned department where the entire building is responsible for the same security personnel. In such a situation, the thieves have easily entered the backroads and escaped with many valuables. The cost of which is about two lakh rupees, even before the theft incident has taken place.
