Ladies Club Shatdal organizes Sankranti Mela

Jamshedpur: Ladies club of Telco River View Enclave Shatdal organized Sankranti Mela at the local community hall.

The Mela is organized in the month of Magh every year. General Manager, Tata Motors, Manas Mishra inaugurated the Mela by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

Stalls of food items and gifts were put up and entertaining games, lucky draws were organized amidst a large number of participants.

Joint secretary of Shatdal Bhavna Jha said that proceeds from the Mela were being utilized to help the disadvantaged every year.

Chief guest Masas Mishra said that such events connect people to their culture and tradition. He lauded the initiatives of the club for its mission to serve the poor and the needy.

The Mela concluded on a high note and winners of the lucky draws received prizes in the presence of the dignitaries. Mausumi Bannerjee, Renu Sinha, Bhavna Jha, Rita Kaur, Ranjana Jha, Laxmi Venkataraman, Rashmi Srivastava, Vimala Agrawal and others were present at the event.
