Jamshedpur, Oct 7: A labourer committed suicide by hanging himself on Sunday evening after an argument with his wife. He was a resident of Adarsh Nagar under the Ulidih police station area. The police have identified the deceased as Ravi Kunkal. He was rushed to MGM Hospital where doctors declared him dead. On Monday, his body was sent for post-mortem.
A crowd gathered at the scene on hearing about the incident and the police also arrived shortly after. Sunny Kunkal the deceased’s brother informed there was a disagreement between the man and his wife before she left to buy medicine. When she returned she found her husband hanging from a saree. She started shouting and the neighbors gathered
He lived in a rented house and was survived by his wife and three children. He worked as a tile labourer. The police will hand over the body to the family after the post-mortem.
