Jamshedpur, Aug 3: Ekta Vikas Manch (EVM) today organized a meeting at the Ghoda Baba Mandir in Gamharia where the issue of various labour problems being faced by workers of the industrial area was discussed. Chairing the meeting EVM central committee president Arvind Mishra expressed grave concern on the fate of the workers at a time when industries are shutting down or are on th verge of collapse due to economic and financial uncertainty. He blamed the government for its apathetic attitude towards the industrial workers who are facing starvation.
Mishra announced that in order to protect the welfare of the workers and to draw the government� attention to this issue, EVM will take out an agitation rally, �Akrosh Julus� from Chhota Gamharia Durga Puja Maidan at 4 pm on Sunday, August 4 that will culminate at Lal Building Chowk in Gamharia. He appealed to all sections of workers and public to participate in this protest rally. Workers of various industrial units were present at the meeting.
