KSMS students express gratitude to firefighters

Jamshedpur, July 29: Members of Eco-Club in association with Scouts & Guides & Care & Share Club of Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) accompanied by their Moderators-Rinku K., Chhaya.J and Sheela Sudhakaran, paid visit to the Police Camp, Golmuri and Fire Station, Golmuri.

Every Thursday in KSMS is celebrated as “Thank you Thursday”, when every member of the institution expresses gratitude for all the good that happens in their lives.

It was only appropriate to choose such a day to visit the Police Camp and Fire Station at Golmuri. Students gave handmade thank you cards to honour the fireman and police for their continual service to the city and the nation; for keeping the streets safe.

To spread the message of brotherhood on the upcoming occasion of rakshabandhan, the students tied rakhis to the firemen and police personnel, for it is them who safeguard security.

On the occasion Major Rajiv Kumar, Police camp Golmuri and Gopal Yadav , In-charge of Fire Station, Golmuri appreciated the school and children for this gesture. Children were delighted with the fatherly behaviour of the Police and received chocolates in return. Nandini Shukla, Principal of the school also applauded the effort of the children.
