KPS Mango Honours ICSE Toppers at Prize Day 2026

Jamshedpur, June 24: Kerala Public School (KPS) Mango celebrated its ICSE Prize Day 2026 with great enthusiasm, honouring students for their outstanding performance in the ICSE Board Examinations. The event was attended by students, parents, teachers, and distinguished guests who gathered to celebrate academic excellence and achievement.

The programme was graced by Colonel Nikhil Sharan as the chief guest. Other dignitaries present included Chairperson Manorama Nair, Director Sharat Chandran, Academic Director Lakshmi R, Assistant Director Shanta Vaidhyanathan, Managing Committee Member Mukhtar Alam, and coordinators and teachers from various KPS branches. Principal Rupa Ghosh, Vice Principal Usha Rajshekran, Junior School Coordinator Dibya Tiwary, faculty members, students, and parents also attended the event.

The celebration began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolising the spread of knowledge, followed by a colourful welcome dance by students.

Presenting the annual report, Principal Rupa Ghosh highlighted the school’s achievements during the academic year and praised the efforts of students and teachers in maintaining high academic standards.

A total of 181 students appeared for the ICSE Examination 2026 and achieved impressive results. During the prize distribution ceremony, students who secured 90 percent and above in various subjects were felicitated for their exceptional performance.

Among the Science stream toppers, Zafira Fatima secured the first position with 98.60 percent, followed by Khadija Bano with 97.80 percent. Aiman Kausar and Shamsh Maroof Khan jointly secured the third position with 96.20 percent each.

In the Commerce stream, Aatika Shah topped with 87.40 percent, while Ariba Khan and Iffat Naaz secured the second and third positions with 86.40 percent and 83.40 percent respectively.

Addressing the gathering, Colonel Nikhil Sharan congratulated the students, teachers, and parents. He encouraged students to remain disciplined, work hard, and stay focused on their goals to achieve success in life.
